Heating & soaking: Billets heated to 1200–1300℃ in reheating furnace
Rough & finish rolling: Hot billets rolled to target thickness through multi-pass rolling
Laminar cooling: Rolled strip cooled to control grain structure
Coiling & finishing: Coiled after cooling, trimmed, inspected and packaged for storage

5.FAQ
Q1:What is the core difference between hot rolled steel coil and cold rolled steel coil?
A1:Hot rolled steel coil is rolled at high temperature, with slightly lower surface precision but high strength and low cost; cold rolled steel coil is rolled at room temperature, with smooth surface and high dimensional accuracy, suitable for scenarios with high requirements for appearance and precision.
Q2:How to treat the surface oxide scale of hot rolled steel coil?
A2:The oxide scale can be removed by pickling and shot blasting processes to improve surface finish and meet the needs of subsequent processing or coating.
Q3:What are the precautions for storage of hot rolled steel coil?
A3:It should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse to avoid rain and moisture; it can be covered with moisture-proof film to prevent rust; different grades should be stacked separately to avoid mixing.
Q4:Can hot rolled steel coil be directly used in outdoor scenarios?
A4:Direct use is not recommended. Anti-rust treatments such as painting and galvanizing are required, otherwise it is susceptible to environmental erosion and rust, affecting service life.
